Just figured I would start a few conversational topics here so let's start with this one: Books!
So far, I have Breach and Beyond the Breach which are a combination of horror and dark fantasy. In them, the MC finds herself lost in an alternate reality that she later finds out has been created from her childhood nightmares. She is completely alone and being hunted by everything that has been haunting her dreams since an early age. She needs to discover where she is, how she got there, and how to get back to her world before the creatures break through the breach.
In Hank Flynn, the title character lives in the Wild West, finds an unlikely home in a small town after a life in exile and is on a personal mission from God to banish demons from the earth. You will see more from Hank soon as it is currently being re-launched by Eerie River as a series. Book 1 and Book 2 will both release in spring of 2023 from Eerie River.
My newest novel, Bishop, is making waves right now, and is a creature feature with a heavy dose of wilderness survival. It is set in Alaska, and features a man with a secret, a lost woman and her teen daughter, and something ancient stalking them in the woods.
A chapbook was also just released called "Exactly the Wrong Things" that features three stories by Joseph Monks, Franklin Wales, and myself as a tribute to Ed Lee, Jack Ketchum, and Richard Laymon. We wanted to do something in the same style as Triage, that these three great authors penned many years ago. The amazing Ed Lee gave us permission to use the opening line from his book, The Bighead, and Christine Morgan gave us the second line. Combined, these lines set the opening scene and tone for all three stories, which went wildly different directions. This is an extreme horror chapbook with some of the greatest illustrations that I've ever seen. In fact, when I saw the illustration to accompany my story, my first thought was "WTF did I write?" You can find the illustrated eBook on godless.com. Signed print copies will be available on my website on Dec. 1.
I published The Baker's Dozen last winter which won the 2022 Splatterpunk anthology of the year. You can find 13 extreme horror stories in this delectable dark delight. The Baker's Dozen hardcover is only available on my website, but you can find the eBook and paperback on Amazon, order from B&N, or as of Nov. 12, grab the eBook on godless.com.
UPDATED: The second anthology in my Dark Dozen series, Trapped, is now live on godless.com in eBook form and live on Amazon in eBook and Paperback. The hardcovers are expected to ship by mid-December. I am really proud of this anthology and cannot wait to share this limited-edition with you!
11/27/2022 UPDATE: I just had a new novella released, Earth vs The Lava Spiders, in a fun 1950's B-movie style trilogy for a 10-day author challenge that Judith Sonnet put together. I joined her and Lucas Mangum in this challenge to write, edit, and publish a story in 10 days and we succeeded! I was raised on a lot of B-movies and 50's culture, so this was a lot of fun for me! It's a cheesy, fun, action-packed story that I hope you will enjoy reading as much as I loved writing it! It is available on Amazon now in eBook and paperback and will be available on my website shortly.
Tell me if you have read any of these, what you liked, or what you would like to see more of!
You can find everything that is available now on my website or use my Link tree found here.
