Another week gone, more deadlines, a birthday, and a new release! It’s been a long week full of hard work and good things, including celebrating my oldest daughter’s birthday and the release of Bishop: Man vs Monster, which was co-authored with M. Ennenbach. We had a birthday lunch on Sunday and since the release of Bishop, some fantastic reviews and blurbs have come in. I am very happy with this release and the direction the Bishop saga is going.
Christina Pfeiffer, from the Mothers of Mayhem podcast, had this to say about the new release: “This is the literary mash up we needed and didn’t even know! … the writing is seamless. If you go into BISHOP 2 not knowing the individual writer, you would never know who wrote what and that shows this collaboration is stellar. Bloody, emotional, and suspenseful, BISHOP 2 gives us everything and a little bit more!”
You can read her full review on Uncomfortably Dark on the Christina Critiques page under Book Reviews.
We also received an amazing blurb from the legendary Ronald Kelly and rising star Brennan LaFaro, both of which will be included in the paperback release on May 1. Look for those to be shared over the next week or so, leading up to the full release.
In other news, The Generator is still being well-received by readers as is The Unicorn Killer. You can get both on godless, Amazon, or Barnes & Noble, as well as order signed copies online.
In podcast news, I was interviewed last Thursday by the Dead Headspace crew and they surprised me by inviting one of my favorite authors, Caitlin Marceau, to help with my interview. We had a fantastic discussion. I will be recording with them again on Monday to interview author Chad Lutzke which I am really excited for. I hope you all will be sure to check it out wherever you watch or listen to your podcasts. It is available in both audio and video formats.
I have another busy week ahead with more releases coming almost monthly for the next 4 months. Big things that I cannot wait to share with you all and so much more planned.
Until next time, I am here, dark and uncomfortable!
