Hey All,
Today, saw the release of my new short, The Unicorn Killer, on godless here. It’s .99 for the next two weeks. It will release on Amazon on April 1, in both paperback and eBook, and will also be released on most other eBook platforms via Draft 2 Digital.
Coming up next, the release of The Generator on April 8th. This was a quad collab project with authors Eric Butler, Nikolas P. Robinson, and M Ennenbach. It is a mini anthology, of sorts, that I believe everyone will really enjoy. It’s a unique set-up that I had a lot of fun creating. This will release on godless as an eBook as well as on Amazon in eBook and paperback.
Next, you will see Bishop 2: Man vs Monster, coming out on April 13th. This story has evolved and sets up the next three installments. I am also excited to announce that M Ennenbach has joined me in the creation of the expanded storyline for Bishop and he will be collaborating with me on the remaining installments.
Finally, I have joined another 10-day challenge with Judith Sonnet and several more authors. Stay tuned for more details on this project once Judith makes the official announcement. This will be out before the end of April.
For author chats, I am still having these chats on a weekly basis, and it’s been a truly amazing experience getting to know some of my peers on a more personal basis. Recent chats include Jonathan Tripp, Brennan LaFaro, and Felix I.D. Dimaro, who will be joining me again this week for more information sharing on marketing and promoting.
The Dead Headspace podcast on Saturday went very well. This was a panel discussion with some of the authors from American Cannibal, edited by Rebecca Rowland. Jeff Strand, EV Knight, Ronald Malfi and I all discuss our stories, the concepts behind it and our thoughts on cannibalism. My episode of Terrifying Tomes of Terror with Chance the Curator is now live. This was a fun chat, far off the normal interview path.
AuthorCon is rapidly approaching, next Friday I will set off to Virginia to take part in this incredible event. I am on a panel Friday evening, discussing Publishing Anthologies with moderator Kenneth Cain and fellow authors Rachel A. Brune, Rebecca Rowland, R.E. Sargent, and Steven Pajak.
Saturday afternoon, I will be moderating a panel on Trauma in Fiction. Authors Kristopher Triana, Sam Richards, Bridgett Nelson, Kristopher Rufty, and Lucas Milliron will be joining me for this, along with expert speaker Marian Elaine from the Mothers of Mayhem podcast. Later Saturday night, I will be one of judges for the Gross Out contest, sure to a disgustingly great time.
Don’t forget I have a Patreon now with lots of early content and exclusives including weekly access to my new original novella that I am writing weekly on Patreon. Once it is finished, all patrons will be receiving the eBook free, 90 days before general release. All proceeds from the Patreon (click here) will go toward my website fees for Uncomfortably Dark and the creation of the standalone Indie Horror page.
That is all for now. I am here. I am dark. I am always uncomfortable. How was your week?
