Hello All!
For Writing News: Always forward progress on this front, Bishop 2 is moving along. The Generator begins final edits this weekend, and the Unicorn Killer is entering first round edits. These will all drop to godless and Amazon, followed by Barnes and Noble.
I had another great author chat this week with author Dan Soule of the UK. We discussed our processes, works in progress, marketing and promoting tools and sites that are working for us (or not working) and the benefits of the godless platform. I really enjoyed our talk, and we plan to have another one down the road. If you are an author and are interested in a peer-to-peer chat, feel free to reach out. It’s been a lot of fun getting to know the people behind the names.
I joined the Dead Headspace podcast crew last night for a really fun episode with Caitlin Marceau, who I refer to as my spirit animal. She is hilarious and so great to talk with. Her energy and her laugh are incredible, and she is truly a phenomenal writer with remarkable range within her stories. If you are not reading her, please check out any of her work. You will not be disappointed.
The Trapped Kickstarter bundles have been shipped and author contributor copies will start shipping this week. I’m so excited that these amazing volumes are finally out in the world. I hope the readers enjoy them as much as the authors enjoyed writing the stories.
I picked up some more editing work this week, which always pleases me. It’s nice to know that the efforts of myself and my team are being noticed and word is getting around. If you are in need of editing, my rates are super affordable and we have worked with a great many authors in the industry. Feel free to reach out to inquire. I am booking now for late May and after.
That’s all for my updates for this week. I am here. I am dark and always uncomfortable. How was your week?
